For those of you who have been following this blog recently who may wonder what it was like when John, my beloved Canadian, and I were finally in the same physical location, here is your answer:
I took this photo holding the camera away from us not knowing the framing precisely and was delighted with the accidental result. We were walking the Highline (the disused tracks above old meatpacking district in Chelsea that have been redesigned as a gorgeous walkway from 14th-30th Street). I can assure you that I've never been or looked this happy like ever.
Since John and I met in part because of our mutual interest in photography, I will let this photo stand in for many words....
